Introduction

U°OS is a blockchain framework with universal portable reputation, that provides a platform for decentralized applications, and creates a basis for numerous social and economic relationships and government of organizations and communities. Our reputation is devised to provide trust towards web participants in the digital peer-to-peer environment, which is a generation 3.0 of the Web.

In order to address this problem of trustworthy reputation, U°OS blockchain platform provides tools to assess, evaluate and rank relevant connections, including social and economic activity of a digital entity (an individual or an organization) in a decentralized setting. This aim is achieved through the novel U°OS DPoI blockchain consensus algorithm, that integrates the concept of DPoS with the idea, that social interactions naturally generate economic activity between individuals or organizations, and, therefore, should be a part of the user’s reputation score.

DPoI reputation is calculated algorithmically, thus, it does not belong to any centralized entity. This prohibits centralized censorship. Blockchain transparency allows to trace causal links and timestamp any activity. This increases trust towards the network participant. Our reputation system can be applied to any sociо-economic process to increase its velocity and cost efficiency.
